Beginning with a very slow Baroque introduction, this piece develops quickly into the fiddle tune “Brushy Fork,” the Irish tune “Cherish the Ladies” and the no-holds-barred “Temperance Reel”! In the days before recordings, turntables and sequencers, this was what people danced to. And it still makes me want to dance!
