“The Rock’s Shadow”

“Invention in  G minor”

This second published volume of solo piano works progresses on the path established in Volume 1, presenting a series of individual pieces and suites created over a span of nearly forty years. Of varying technical difficulty and dramatic intent, works composed specifically for the piano have been placed alongside other works adapted for the keyboard from large ensemble orchestrations.

Note from the Composer:

The piano has always brought me comfort as a source of solace and as a tool of inspiration. Since the age of five, it has been an integral centerpiece of my home, family life, work and social life. I have fought with it (practicing for piano lessons and numerous recitals and other concerts), made a living with it, celebrated with it…and cried while playing it.
